Thank you for visiting our web site. We at North Main are striving to be a congregation of the Word, seeking the lost and reaching the community and the world with the gospel. We have been a light to our community here on the north side of Weatherford for over 60 years and continue, Lord willing, to be that light today.
Our Mission and How we serve:
The focus of this congregation is to glorify God. He has directed us in serving in many ways. We support mission work in India through Royce Frederick. We also write and publish a Bible based curriculum "Lessons to Live By" printed and distributed by Judy and Ken Kendallball. The Lord has also allowed us to contribute to other existing mission works such as "The Gospel Chariot" and George Funk (Africa), "West Africa Water Wells, Philip Ganta in Dubai, native preachers in Honduras, Darrell Chappell in Scotland, South Sudan school of preaching, and World Bible School.
Another way we serve is through interactive Bible classes for the young children. The "Journey Land" is a rotation based approach to Bible study for K thru 6th grade. Each Bible lesson is experienced four different ways: through Bible story, drama, crafts, and computers. Each student is afforded four opportunities to absorb the story and the lesson.
